Unfortunately, our capabilities do not always coincide with desires. Craftsmen in this case also found a way out of the situation. Let's transform today an ordinary bookshelf, which is already pretty fed up with your primitive dullness.
Necessary components
- Shelf
- Littering wallpaper, preferably those that themselves are glued
- Decorative baseboard
- glue
- Hacksaw or small thin saw
Getting to work
1. The first thing to do is to measure the shelf and write it all down on paper.
2. Have you ever seen a picture frame? Of course they did! So, now it is necessary, in accordance with the measurements, to cut the decorative baseboard.
3. Again, go back to the shelf and glue it with wallpaper. They should preferably be neutral tones and be in harmony with the general atmosphere of the room.
4. It remains a matter of very small. We attach the prepared decorative baseboard to the front side of the shelf. This can be done either with glue, or resort to the services of a hammer with nails. So the updated shelf is ready! Admire and enjoy!
By the way, if you do not have wallpaper, then it is quite possible to replace them with paint. Just paint the shelf with matte paint and you will get excellent results.
