Arduino Uno is a controller based on the ATmega328 microcontroller. Arduino Uno will work both from the computer’s power supply, thanks to the USB connection, as well as from external power supply. It can be an AC / DC adapter (power supply), or batteries. The latter option is most interesting for amateur designers, because this controller is used to make home-made radio-controlled toys. The operating voltage of the board is only 5V, the recommended input 7-12V
In order to install the necessary programs on the board, it must be connected via USB to the computer. Reprogramming is carried out using the Arduino software. The Uno printed circuit board has a size of only 6.9x5.3 cm and at the same time 32 KB of memory. 0.5 kB of them are occupied by boot files. It is possible, without using the internal bootloader, to program the microcontroller via ICSP. RAM - 2 kB.
