The guys from Vologda, namely Yuri Zhilin with his friend Andrei, decided to build together all-terrain vehicle unusual design.
According to the creative idea of the authors, it was decided to compose the following type of all-terrain vehicle, which will have such characteristics:
1) it was decided to make the all-terrain vehicle the safest and most reliable design, even though the reliability of the design may go to the detriment of the terrain qualities of the all-terrain vehicle.
2) it was also supposed to spend as little effort on it, due to lack of time.
3) and still the all-terrain vehicle should have a carrying capacity of about one ton for the transportation of bulky goods.
We will carefully consider what particular details the guys used to build their car:
1) The Kubota 1505T internal combustion engine, it is proposed to position it in the middle of the frame in order to stabilize the structure, again for the sake of the reliability of the machine.
2) The gearbox was borrowed from the standard VAZ-2108, in addition, the differentials were welded.
3) For an all-terrain vehicle of a similar design, sufficiently powerful bridges are needed, and such bridges were taken from GAZ-66.
4) the steering will be hydrostatic
5) Tires were taken from Hurricane 1500 * 600.
6) springs from the Volga with additional levers.
Having decided on the concept, technical characteristics and means, it was decided to proceed with the assembly of the all-terrain vehicle.
To start, the frame was welded. In the photo below you can see the welded frame, and the engine at the bottom right:

Regarding bridges ... since springs are not needed, it was decided to cut them. The stocking of the bridge was turned over 180 degrees, as a result, the gearbox was shifted to the right. This offset allows you to correctly place both the cardan and the engine.

Well, it turned out an excellent all-terrain vehicle, the only thing is that the guys did not meet the expected mass of up to one and a half tons.
