Making the eternal lamp

Good afternoon, dear readers of the site. This article will provide an overview of the video on the manufacture of the eternal lamp.

Since we will have time for ages, we suggest spending a few minutes watching an author’s video

We will need:
- copper wire;
- aluminum wire;
- polypropylene tube;
- glue gun;
- napkins or soft toilet paper;
- Light-emitting diode;
- salty water;
- the lens.

The first step is to cut the tube so that the length of the resulting piece is equal to the length of the wire, not forgetting about a small margin.

Then wrap the copper wire in soft paper. According to the author of the idea, it is important to use a paper that absorbs moisture well.

After wrapping about half of the paper, we put the aluminum wire there and continue to wind up to the end.

Wrap the thread on top so that the paper does not untie.

Thus, we have a small battery that generates electricity like a generator, instructions for the manufacture of which can be found in previous materials.

We dip the resulting battery into salt water, well soaking a napkin with this water.

After that, we put the battery into the PVC tube.

At the back of the tube you can put a cork.

Next, take the lid from under the plastic bottle and make a hole in it.

Then, using hot glue, glue the lens to the hole, which is used to diffuse light from the LED bulb.

Next, we fix the switch on the tube.

Correctly connect the wires to the LED bulb.

Author's tests showed that such a homemade flashlight shines continuously for about half an hour, if you use ordinary water. If you use salt water, then the operating time increases to about two hours. You can also add a little apple cider vinegar.
