There are tons of tips and tricks for storing headphones on the net. Some lessons talk about tying the headphones correctly for easy untying. In today's review, we will present you with an interesting idea for the independent manufacture of a wine cork keeper for headphones.
We recommend starting with watching the author’s video

We will need:
- wine cork;
- an awl or screwdriver;
- lighter;
- headphones;
- a hacksaw for metal.
The first thing to do at the bottom of the cork is to make two cuts with a hacksaw for metal. After making the first incision, simply turn the cork over and simultaneously make the second shallow one.
Next, we take a lighter and warm up the tip of the awl thoroughly.
While the awl has not had time to cool down, it is necessary to have time to make a shallow hole in the upper part of the cork.
Our simple headphone keeper is ready. It works according to the following principle. First of all, insert a 3.5 mm mini-jack into the hole that was made with the heated tip of the awl. Then, with your finger, hold a small piece of wire coming from the mini-jack and carefully wind the rest of the wire onto the cork. At the end, we insert one posting into the first slot, and the other posting into the second.
Such a keeper for headphones will save many from problems with unwinding headphones, and will also become a beautiful and original accessory. Finally, we note that the first headphones we know were made back in 1899. More than 100 years have passed, but the principle of the headphones has remained virtually unchanged.
