DIY bike trailer

Great idea how to make trailer for bicycle do it yourself in home conditions. Trailer to bike an irreplaceable thing in the country for the transportation of goods of different severity. For example, it is very convenient to use such a trailer for transporting flasks with water.

Necessary materials and tools for manufacturing:
- hammer
- chisel
- Adjustable wrench
- pliers
- crosshead screwdriver
- roulette
- boards
- metal corners
- wire
- bolts of different sizes and diameters
- rope
- bridge
- wheels

Detailed manufacturing description:

Step 1: To begin, we assemble the frame of the trolley. When assembling the bolts do not need to be tightened, just strengthen the structure using wire. To do this, fasten the wire with nuts diagonally.

Step 2: After assembling the structure, we fasten the bridge to the wooden base. For fastening we use nuts, bolts, as well as nylon inserts.

Step 3: Next, we make the central axis of support. This will require a wider board. So that the boards do not interfere with the movement of the bridge at the ends of the board, it is necessary to make small indentations and fasten with four screws.

Step 4: To assemble the fasteners for the trolley, we cut the corners into components. Remember their length in the future will depend on the height of the trailer itself. Two parts of the square do not need to be cut to the end since they must be bent at an angle and secured with brackets as shown in the photo.

Step 5: Next, you need to make a coupling for fastening. To do this, cut two pieces of the square and fasten them to the structure.

Step 6: We attach wheels to the trolley.

Step 7: Then we’ll make a net on the frame of the trolley, if you wish, you can simply put the boards. It all depends on the load.

Step 8: Fasten the trailer to the bike.

That's it, the homemade bike trailer is ready.

So, I found a store where they sell such wheels: http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_1030_1030 price of $ 30.
pogranec, Thank you for the answer and the link.
This is taken from a foreign site. Apparently the author was cheating or the rules were different. To you.
Please tell me where you bought these wheels? As I understand it is 20-inch.
You are both right, you need both suspension and the reliability of the mounts, do not forget. It is also possible to tinker and sides, so that the load does not fall out. In principle, you can do anything and under any load on this platform. in this case, it is worth adding a suspension, a board and providing removable partitions for various cargo.
It’s immediately noticeable that they built a trailer from what was left at hand and after repair. One must have real talent in order to see a trailer in construction rubbish. I see that it is necessary to fasten the trailer to the bicycle from two sides, and not from one. I suspect that during operation (with load, on rough roads) the trailer frame slopes sideways. It will be more reliable on both sides.
What is the carrying capacity of a trailer? And yet, maybe it was necessary to provide some kind of suspension - the load on a rigid cart simply shakes.
