Outside, sunny summers and kids spend a lot of time walking on the street. There, the child learns the world, learns to communicate with peers, plays and develops. Children love everything bright and colorful, and many more of them like to draw. In the summer, for these purposes, asphalt and colorful crayons are ideal. The author of this wonderful idea will talk about how you can home conditions do it yourself make colorful multi-colored crayons for children's creativity. Moreover, your child can take the most active part in this process.
To get started, prepare the necessary materials and tools:
1. Building gypsum
2. Colorful gouache
3. Two large plastic cups
4. Spoon
5. Suitable silicone molds. The author uses in this case molds for ice

1 step.
First, mix gypsum with water in a ratio of 1.5: 1. It is necessary to pour gypsum into the water, and mix very carefully so that lumps do not form. For exact proportions, the author recommends using two measuring plastic cups.
2 step.
The mixture should not be liquid; by consistency, it should resemble sour cream. Usually, according to the instructions on the package, it is advised to breed gypsum with water 1: 1, and since we need a thicker mixture, so we increase the gypsum content a little.
3 step.
Add two tablespoons of paint to the gypsum mixture. The color of the future chalk will depend on the amount of paint, the more gouache you add, the richer the color of the finished chalk.
4 step.
Mix color mixture well. Everything needs to be done quickly, since gypsum quickly hardens.
5 step.
The finished mixture is poured into suitable forms. In each filled cell of the mold, mix the mixture with a toothpick in order to remove air bubbles from the mixture. Now you can make and pour a mixture of a different color. As a result, the author got such a color palette of crayons.
6 step.
After about 30 minutes, the crayons are completely frozen. It is necessary to remove them from the mold and dry in the sun for about an hour. We put the crayons in a suitable box and that's it - the set for children's creativity is ready.
