Fans of computer games love to collect real models of objects seen in games. In this material, we bring to your attention an overview of the video for the manufacture of such homemade, which can be a great addition to the interior or a gift for a friend.
Let's start by watching the author’s video
We will need:
- LED strip bright red;
- 9-volt battery type crown;
- box for the battery;
- switch;
- a lot of broken glass.
Since glass will be used in the manufacture of homemade products, we note that during operation it is advised to be extremely careful and work with gloves. Let's get started.
The first thing to do from broken glass is to make the basis for the future artifact. To do this, take a few pieces of glass and glue them together. Gluing is possible with the help of a super-moment.
After gluing several pieces of glass, something like the one shown in the figure below should be obtained.
Ultimately, you need to get a design like a crystal.
Next, you need to glue the edges of the glass parts with tape or plasticine, since the next thing is to paint the structure.
Now you can start painting. In order to make the crystal look more like a game one, we will use red spray paint.
After painting, remove the tape or plasticine, which glued the edges.
We take unnecessary packaging from the disks, which we will use as a stand.
Cut small pieces from the LED strip in the size of the base of the crystal and connect to each other in a sequential manner.
In the box from the disks, cut out all the excess on the top cover to the size of the base of the artifact.
If desired, the holes on the sides of the cover of the box for the discs can make holes with a hot needle to give the effect of rivets.
Next, paint the lid black with spray paint.
We glue the LED ribbon clipping with a glue gun.
Next, take the putty and form a small relief on the surface of the lid.To putty held more stable in the lower part, you can glue a wide adhesive tape.
Finally, install the crystal and glue it with a super-moment.
Paint the putty to give it a ground effect. This can be done using ordinary watercolor paints.
We make a hole on the side of the cover for the switch.
We solder all the wires together.
Do not forget to stick the battery box to the base of the disc cover.
You can also decorate the side part, giving it a light rust effect.
Our artifact is ready.
