Operating procedure:
The first and main step is to choose a suitable surface for installing the barrel. It should be flat and well-packed. Size is also needed appropriate. If the ground is soft, it is recommended to install a wooden backing in the form of a shield.

The idea with a barrel is great. And most importantly, easy to do. Barrels are now for sale - in all sizes and colors. And if there is a gutter for draining rainwater, then just connect it with a pipe segment with a barrel, and there is no need to arrange additional "traps". I wonder why such a simple idea does not go to most heads of summer residents. Most (and me, too) have all kinds of utensils from bathtubs to trolleys on the plots, and you need to climb there with a bucket or watering can.

Rain water is often dirty, contains sand and tree leaves. It would be nice to think of an additional water filter so as not to suffer from cleaning the barrel in the future. After all, this occupation is very difficult due to the absence of large holes or a lid in a plastic barrel. do not forget to remove the barrel with the onset of cold weather.
