Following all-terrain vehicle will surprise you with indicators of its patency. It has a base size of 3150, and the track of the all-terrain vehicle is about two meters. It was specially made so long that it is possible to lower the center of gravity as much as possible and achieve unsurpassed stability of the machine. The motor is just three centimeters from the frame. This all-terrain vehicle can easily climb any slope, its limitations in patency rest only only in the fear of the pilot himself. The all-terrain vehicle has a clearance of about 40 centimeters, while it is the same everywhere from wheel to wheel.
The author sought pressure up to 0.2 and weight up to one ton, and it was also decided to use most of the parts without being carried away by their alteration and limit the number of turning works to a minimum.
The following parts and materials were used in this all-terrain vehicle:
1) The internal combustion engine was removed from the VAZ 2108
2) front and rear rack from the Niva.
3) the front and rear disc brakes were also removed from the eight.
4) A copper radiator from a gazelle was used.
5) The suspension was implemented on sheets from the GAZ-66.
6) For self-welding of the frame, a pipe 60 to 40 lower part and 40 to 40 upper part was involved.

The long car turned out to be somewhere around 4200 mm, a width of 2 meters 45 centimeters, the all-terrain vehicle’s height was 70 meters. The device is able to move both on land and on the water surface.
Let us consider in more detail the stages of construction of an all-terrain vehicle.
To begin with, the author decided to build a frame, it was built around the engine, as it were, to accurately see the correspondence of the width of the structure:

This machine is equipped with a spring independent suspension, the design of which, the author borrowed from Vitaly Mazurkevich, a little-known in the automobile industry circle. Prior to arriving at a similar design, the author tried to grind a sheet from KRAZA from above, however, it was decided to abandon a similar idea in the direction of the Mazurkevich design. Ball mounts were made on top of the spring. It was fixed with wheel bolts from 2108 to the corresponding dimple holes on the springs.
As already written, the author did not really want to use a lathe in business, so the construction of the 2108 shaft drive, as well as the fork of the universal joint of a Lada of the same diameter, were assembled using a conventional sledge hammer, welding and grinder.

Ready frame with wheels already installed:
At first it was decided to shorten a little car from 3 meters 15 centimeters of the base length to 3 meters, this was done by moving the cab closer to the motor. Then they further shortened 84 centimeters to 2 meters from the back, for this the rail was thrown out, and the trunnions were turned 180 degrees, with bipods back. Then there was the strengthening of the bipod, another spring, at the end of which two ball joints were placed. Actually, all these manipulations were caused by a rather commonplace reason, completely not related to patency. It was just hard to get the cars out of the garage with such a frame length. After shortening, this problem disappeared and now it easily drives in and out of the garage for 1 time.
Although a little too far with the front castor. It was made at 12-15 degrees and turning the steering wheel required no small effort. Therefore, it was done at -5 degrees and the ease of control returned, even without any power steering. Also, in order to facilitate the design, the author had a desire to leave only 1 spring on top, but there was a strong twist and the effect of starting-braking. But with four springs, twisting is not so noticeable and can be neglected.
For gullies, the author decided to put self-blocks. In general, for a profiled area, Mazurkevich’s suspension is an invaluable invention. Thanks to her, it is possible to call on the slope even at an angle of 45 degrees without much effort, and the car will not even feel this bias. It is possible to drop into the hill head-on, like on a wall, while the car freezes for 1 second as if in zero gravity, and then rolls over and takes an obstacle. Below are the videos, in one of them you can see how during acceleration all the wheels turned out of the way. however, the suspension was not damaged in any way.
