Description: Are you sick of the summer heat? Tired of sweating in front of the computer :)? A homemade USB / CD fan from your CD / DVD will help you! If suddenly you do not play video from homemade from a CD / DVD disc, then here is a short production instruction do it yourself:

Materials: Two CD / DVD discs, a cork from a bottle of wine, a cardboard cylinder (from toilet paper or from a roll of wallpaper), a motor (from a CD drive or printer) and a USB cable.
Instruments: Scissors, awl, glue, candle.
Fan assembly: We divide the disk into 8 equal sectors-blades, cut it to the transparent part of the disk, heat the base of the blade on the candle and rotate about 30 degrees. We adjust the cork from the bottle of wine to the diameter of the disk, so that it fits tightly into the hole. Precisely in the middle of the cork we make a hole with an awl and insert it into the disk. Next, you need to prepare the motor - we fix it on a cardboard cylinder (the height of the cylinder you need to choose a larger radius of the disk) with glue (it is better to use a glue gun). We attach the cylinder with the motor to the second CD / DVD disc (it serves as the basis of a homemade fan) with glue.

Now we need to power the motor - we take an unnecessary USB cable, we strip one end, we leave only black and red wiring. We connect them to email. to the motor.

With the last action, we put the fan on the motor axis.

Homemade USB fan is ready!

Tip: For convenience, a break can be put on the switch.

Aleksandr-1,
Motors sold separately, just look

Roman,
You can rheostat, you can collect resistance packages, you can gear, you can just wrap a cloth (like a brake)
Roman
still come up with how to adjust the number of revolutions of the motor,
Aleksandr-1
How to make it clear that the thing is necessary, there are almost all materials, except for 2 - there is no motor from the CD-drive and cork. If the cork can be easily obtained by buying a bottle of wine, then to extract the motor you need to buy a new CD-drive or printer, or what?
The theme is terribly dark ... I liked it, BUT

Yab changed it, made it customizable, i.e. I installed it on a tripod made of wire in order to be able to direct and absorb vibration with inaccurate centering and balancing of the propeller.

A tripod can be made obsolete AVVG 1x4 or 6mm2 wires, I can’t say the exact cross-section, it’s cheating to try more. If bending is often expected, then it is better to take a copper core (VVG)

But in general, OFF!

We advise you to read:

Hand it for the smartphone ...
