Electric drills can interfere with you until you work with them, taking up space on a workbench. To prevent mess, make a useful holder for an electric drill that will not cost any money, and you will spend very little effort to make it.
Find a used plastic container, suitable from under detergents for washing machines. Wash it. Then use a hot air blower or blow dryer (to exfoliate all labels) to blow onto the container by setting it at a low heat level to avoid skin burns or melting of the container.
Choose a container that looks like a jug — the type of which has oval openings made for easy handling.
Glue masking tape to the container as shown in the photo.
Make a cut with a stationery knife. You will get two parts. We use one part (where the cap is) further.
Unscrew the cap - you do not need it.
This part can be thrown away or used for other purposes.
Remove masking tape. Edges can be treated with heat so that they are not sharp.
Punch or drill a hole in the workpiece as shown in the photo.
Drill a hole in the place where it is convenient for you to store your drill.
For fastening use: screw and washer. They must be strong enough to support the weight of the drill.
Now you can use the holder. Unplug the drill, insert it into the holder. Wind the cord around the drill. Done!
