Spy glasses and monitor

Spy glasses and monitor

In this cycle of computer homemade we will play spy stuff.
We will manufacture, without any complicated technologies and materials, a monitor and glasses for the “spy”.

In homemade products we need:
- directly monitor;

- any points;

- solvent;

- Super glue.

- stationery knife;
- a screwdriver or screwdriver;
- paper towels;

We disassemble our monitor.

More precisely, we remove the plastic case.

After removing the case, we proceed to the next operation. We need to cut off the polarization film.

On the top of the glass of monitors there are usually two films: for filtering light - polarizing and matte - anti-reflective.

For our "espionage" homemade product we will use only polarizing one. We will make a cut exactly along the metal edge of the display. You can make seizures of films in another way: flip off the metal edge and remove the films, since the films can simply be applied, but if they are glued, cutting can not be avoided.

Attention! When removing the metal edge, be extremely careful, remove only the film and assemble it back, do not disturb the matrix.

So, remove the film.

The main thing is not to spoil the polarization film and remember how it was located (upper and lower parts).

If the films were still glued, you will need to clean the display of the remaining glue, here we will need a solvent with disposable paper towels.

We impregnate the towels with solvent and for a short time we place them on the screen so that the glue is better cleaned off. We use a plastic scraper for cleaning.

When the cleaning is ok, we assemble the monitor case back and the floor of the “spy” case is completed.
We check our monitor, turn it on and see that the monitor is white. Do not be alarmed! This is what we achieved, we substitute the polarizing film to the monitor, a picture should appear.

Here you will immediately understand our whole plan.

We proceed to the final operation.

We take glasses and pull out the glasses from them, cut out the contour of the glasses from the polarizing film and glue to our frame, not forgetting where we have the top and where the bottom of the film.

And now our "spy" work is completed.

Now you can not even password-protect your computer, since you can’t see anything on it anyway, and you can safely use incognito yourself. Or surprise others.

Do not use a monitor that is dear to you at the first such home-made work, because due to your non-professionalism or failure, something may not work!

Yeah, one of my friend's children scratched the film. He quickly pulled the rest and voila! Closed, with good soundproofing, headphones + glasses, and looks "adult" anytime!
Although, of course, you can come up with a more worthy application.
