In this material, we present to your attention the idea of making a cooling stand for a laptop from a flip calendar.
To begin with, I suggest watching a short video to fully understand what is happening.
One of the problems for laptop owners is cooling. Prices are impressive for cooling pads in stores, although there is nothing complicated in manufacturing technology. Having rummaged around in unnecessary things, I found a stand for a desk-top desk calendar, a decorative grill and a 120mm cooler from a burned-out power supply and a Chinese USB adapter (I don’t even remember which device. Plus, all this 30 minutes of your time. And so, let's get started.
We will need:
- stand desk desk calendar
120mm cooler
-decorative lattice
-USB plug
-4 things. screw
-dremel (in my case) or another fixtures to create holes (drill, chisel)
-marker
soldering iron
-solder
First of all, we get rid of the calendar sheets that remained on the stand, unscrew the mount. We take a white marker (again in my case) and make a marking on the decorative grill for our future hole.
After marking, we proceed to create a hole in our stand under the desk calendar using a dremel (in my case).
Solder our USB connector to the cooler. Isolate the solder.
We fix on the stand with screws, cooler and decorative grill.
As a result, we get a cooling stand for a laptop.
