Matchbox holder

Hello to all the inhabitants of our sites. Very common household fixtures without which we could easily do without, but nevertheless, as it happens, it’s convenient when we have them. In this case, I propose to use a holder for matchboxes that is very simple to manufacture and quite comfortable in everyday life.

To do this, you need a minimal set of tools:
* Sheet metal (any) 165x120 mm. thickness from 0.3 to 0.5 mm.
* Scissors for metal.
*Pliers.
* Caliper or any ruler for marking.
* Box of matches.

A sheet of metal pulled from an old keyboard.

All dimensions are in millimeters.

Here, the dimensions are designed for 4 boxes, if desired and the availability of a suitable sheet size, the height can be increased for a more suitable number of boxes for you.

After marking and trimming, this kind of workpiece is obtained.

After bending marked in the drawing. I spent about 5 minutes on all the work.

It remains to insert matchboxes and you're done.

At home, I used a magnet to attach to the stove.

If, before you light a stove, you begin to search for matches throughout the territory of your kitchen, then such a device can help you out at the very best.

Yes and .... it seems to me .... This is from the category of “a bicycle bracket on the wall in the hallway”)))))) Maybe it’s good, but the aesthetics are already suffering a lot .... I’m better every time I’ll get the matches from the drawer if I really need to light them ....
By the way, I bought a lighter for the stove (sometimes I didn’t light the self-ignition oven), so the main criteria were two: the nose should be long and the COLOR should be white or brown .....
Of course there are ... but to burn with matches - in general savagery)) Is it really impossible to buy a lighter on a battery and forget about this dirty business.
Excuse me, are there really stoves without self-ignition now?
