All-terrain vehicle pneumatics

This all-terrain vehicle completely unlike the others. It is distinguished not only by the layout of the four axes, but also the design itself is very unusual. The author is professionally engaged building similar units. Although initially he creates them for himself, this all-terrain vehicle was created so that it would be possible to go hunting for several days, spend the night in the forest and moreover with comfort. Therefore, the all-terrain vehicle was created as if from two compartments, this is the cabin itself, where the machine control is located and the living compartment, in which there are beds, a stove and other amenities.

Units and materials used in the construction of this all-terrain vehicle:
1) Internal combustion engine: was originally installed from the VAZ 21083, but then changed to the VAZ 2106.
2) The pump from the Gazelle
3) Excavator load balancer
4) cylinders from Gas-66
5) gas-66 compressor
6) wheels Bel-79
7) conveyor belt under the tracks
8) Webasto heating system
9) Antifreeze stoves in the amount of two pieces.
10) T-MAX 6500 winch

Let us consider in more detail what the author encountered during the construction of the all-terrain vehicle, as well as the stages of construction.
To begin with, the author made a frame from a profile pipe and put the main units on it, as well as the wheels:

The engine from the VAZ 21083 was replaced as there was not enough power to reach normal speed. Since the sorties could be quite long, not only cross-country ability, but also driving speed is important here.

With regards to the steering everything is quite simply organized, and most importantly reliable. Thanks to the hydraulic distributor taken from the excavator, the steering wheel is quite easy. The stem from gas-66 to d18 was also redone.

Then the author began to assemble the main frame and the car body:

Work was carried out on the residential part of the all-terrain vehicle:

The front balancer without limiters turns out. As you can see, the front hook is located for insurance, however, installed self-locking helps to get out of the slip.

Someone might have thought that the author did not provide for cooling the engine, since the standard radiator grille is not visible in front, but if you look carefully, you can notice the following in the photos:

Small air intakes are made on the front of the hood, a fan is installed on the engine, so hot air exits from the sides of the hood past the muffler and on the other hand.

Then a fan was also installed on the GUR pump, the gas-66 compressor with an electrofusion coupling on one belt is visible at the bottom left.

The wheels were slightly redone under a tubeless base and sealed with sealant only on the sides. Glass sealant was used, the quality was good.

This is how the all-terrain vehicle fracture assembly is made:

Other photos of the assembly of the all-terrain vehicle design:

V-ribbed belt 4-brook, withstands quite a good load.
ATV Test Video:

The crackle that can be heard on the video is not a slipping of the rollers, but the work of the motobase motors. Just held competitions for which the author arrived on his all-terrain vehicle.

The dimension of the all-terrain vehicle is as follows:
546 cm long
Height 250 cm
Width 218 cm
Ground clearance 54 cm

The dry weight of the all-terrain vehicle turned out to be under 2 tons, and the volume of the tanks is 220 liters.
The flanges for the rollers were made, but they did not immediately engage with the insert, because for some time I had to adjust from 80 g per cm to 200 with pressure.

The all-terrain vehicle was assembled and even registered, received license plates.

The rear section, which is also the living compartment, was furnished and now looks like this:

And here is the front section or the all-terrain vehicle cabin, and a sleeping bag is located behind the chairs.

The step was made in such a way that when extended it was possible to make a transom out of it.

Also, under the all-terrain vehicle, tracks were made that dress directly on the wheels and hold perfectly. But for high snow, better lugs are needed. The author solved the problem of lugs by simply screwing the profile pipes to the tracks, efficiently and simply.
