A feature of such fireplaces is a simple design and, without a trace, burning fuel.
In general terms, such a fireplace is a bowl-shaped container, inside of which, another one made of stainless steel is built in. The shape of the containers does not matter. Large capacity is filled with a beautiful, durable stone. The smaller one serves for filling with biofuel. As a combustible material - we use alcohol. When burning such fuel, there is no burning and soot. Easy ventilation of the room is sufficient to remove excess combustion.
Several types of wonderful fireplace are offered:
1. The simplest arrangement of improvised materials does not affect the final result at all. Minimum costs and materials.
2. The second type of arrangement will require some time and materials, but it makes it possible to create a fireplace of any shape and type.
To make a fireplace-2, you will need: metal profiles, drywall, artificial stone and ceramic tiles, heat-resistant adhesive, glass wool, putty, self-tapping screws.
First of all, we draw a sketch of the future fireplace. The flight of your imagination and the amount of material costs should not be limited.
Next, we make the frame and sheathe it with drywall.
The combustion compartment is laid inside, heat-resistant glass wool, from basalt. You can use another thermo-insulating material. Drywall - to the profile - with self-tapping screws. We fix the entire fireplace frame to the wall. Putty, aligning joints and surface.
Firebox design, limited only by thermal safety. The bottom can be made of brick, sand or other heat-resistant material. Leave a recess for the tank with a burner. The walls of the chamber are tiled using thermal glue. The outer surface of the fireplace, decorated with artificial stone, at your discretion.
3. A more exotic version of the fireplace is also not difficult to manufacture.
It will require a metal base, rectangular shape.The bottom of the frame can be equipped with a metal grill. Under the grill is fuel, always in a metal container.
Next, we select and cut according to your design, glass - 4-6 mm. thick. Joints of the glass frame, fasten with silicone.
We cover the lattice with a decorative stone, you can pebble. A wonderful "aquarium" is the fireplace!
The wick can be made of asbotkany, or use the standard (used in kerosene lamps).
The disadvantage of such fireplaces is the rapid burnout of the fuel. In the absence of factory composition, it is not difficult to make home-made: gasoline - 10% + alcohol - 90%. Alternatively, replace the fuel with dry alcohol.
