All-terrain vehicle pneumatics "CUTLETS"

Pretty interesting all-terrain vehicle was assembled from parts of oki and vase in record time. It took the author just a couple of months to assemble the car from scratch. The all-terrain vehicle is designed for two people and can carry up to 100 kilograms of cargo. Thanks to the use of large cameras, the all-terrain vehicle has good buoyancy and can overcome water barriers.

When building the all-terrain vehicle, the following parts and materials were used:
1) Springs from the gazelle
2) the engine from the car Oka
3) profile pipe 25 by 25 millimeters
4) profile pipe 45 by 45 by 3 millimeters
5) propeller shaft from oki
6) driveshafts from the cornfield
7) backstage from vaz 2108
8) cameras with a size of 1200 by 480
9) bridges from a classic vase

Let us consider in more detail the stages of construction of the all-terrain vehicle, as well as the details of its design.

To begin with, the author began to build the frame frame of the all-terrain vehicle:

The frame was made independently and cooked from a profile pipe measuring 45 by 45 by 3 millimeters, and the cab frame was made from a pipe measuring 25 by 25 millimeters.

Then he proceeded to install bridges and main units and components on an all-terrain vehicle:

Mounts were made for shock absorbers and springs from the Gazelle were installed. The suspension turned out to be quite soft, the springs work fine.

The minimum speed of the all-terrain vehicle is three kilometers per hour, at this speed difficult sections of almost any surface are easily covered. The all-terrain vehicle rides quite soft, the buildup as such is not observed, it is very comfortable to drive.

The all-terrain vehicle is capable of speeds up to 60 kilometers per hour on flat sections of the road, without experiencing serious problems with driving.

The mass of the car turned out no more than 600 kilograms. Perhaps it should be easier, because during water testing the all-terrain vehicle fell sharply under the ice and scored water through the cabin, then the truth came up and the waterline passed already below the floor, but with a slight refinement of the design, the calculated buoyancy will be 200 kilograms of load per wheel, that is, the all-terrain vehicle will carry up to 100 kilograms of luggage, which is usually enough.

The all-terrain vehicle has the following dimensions: length 288 centimeters, and the width of the wheel hubs 255 centimeters.

The suspension travel was limited to 20 centimeters, which is quite enough.

Very interesting design. Here are a few questions:

As cardan shafts, welded cardan from the field were used, and from the engine to the steering column there is a shaft from the oka.

The gearshift gearshift mechanism is organized by two wings from a vaz 2108.

A radiator from oki was used as engine cooling, in winter there are no problems with overheating even with the stove turned on, and in the spring in summer the fan runs.

There is enough engine power, cameras scroll on disks, on steep climbs the first lower gear is used.

An all-terrain vehicle goes through the snow heavily, as it burrows at slow speeds. After all, chamber rubber has no tread. At the speed of problems with trips in the snow is not observed.

It is also planned to install grousers for a more comfortable ride in deep snow, since without the presence of these all-terrain vehicle burrows in the snow.
Lugs can be used from belts from agricultural machinery.

On an all-terrain vehicle, cameras measuring 1200 by 480 are used as wheels.

Of the serious breakdowns, the all-terrain vehicle had problems with bridges. With the differential lock turned on and driving uphill, the bridges could not withstand the loads. in other situations, transmission problems were not observed.

As a conclusion from these situations, the author came to the conclusion that it is better not to use the lock in the first low gear, and it is also possible to install bridges from the UAZ in the future. Still, the bridges from the vase are not as strong as we would like.
