Three-wheeled karakat bonik

Such a three-wheeled karakat was collected by Stepan from Krasnoyarsk. All terrain vehicle it was assembled from improvised materials and was not originally planned as a complex project, but later a number of interesting improvements were made with it, which will be shown in the article.

Materials and assemblies used in the construction of this all-terrain vehicle:

1) T-200 internal combustion engine
2) Sunrise Motorcycle Frame
3) differential from Muscovite
4) axles from a Muscovite
5) the intermediate shaft from the motorcycle Sunrise
6) chains and stars from the combine
7) profile pipe and corners.

Let us consider in more detail the assembly of the all-terrain vehicle and its modifications.

To begin with, the author began to assemble a frame, the basis of which was taken from a motorcycle frame Sunrise. The frame was reinforced by welding profile pipes and corners.

Here is the summer version of the all-terrain vehicle:

A chain is put on the front wheel, because the tire is too bald and the front wheel does not have proper grip in the dirt, which means the all-terrain vehicle is very difficult to control, that is, the steering wheel and wheel turn after it, but the all-terrain vehicle continues to drive forward. To avoid such a situation, a solution was found in the form of a chain that provides traction, even in difficult road conditions. Future plans to stud the front wheel with bolts.

The steering tilt level is located like on a motorcycle, so the controls are light and familiar. But of course there are differences primarily due to chamber wheels with belts and bolts.

The T-200 works reliably, in particular due to the fact that a magneto was installed. Native ignition unfortunately did not give out the reliability that was needed. Engine power is enough for such an all-terrain vehicle due to the low weight of the car.

Here in these photos you can get acquainted in more detail with the scheme of the all-terrain vehicle frame and the organization of the transmission:

The front fork has shock absorbers from the Sunrise-3m motorcycle, which is expanded with the help of a corner welded to the motorcycle traverse. The hub from the IZH motorcycle with 203 bearings was also installed. And the hub itself is screwed onto five M12 bolts to the drive from the Muscovite. The axis was made independently.

The lower beam was welded and the feathers extended by 15 centimeters.

The intermediate chain block, despite the fact that it is quite long, works fine. It does not experience heavy loads and there was no breakdown with it.

The author decided to leave the differential open. Also, the all-terrain vehicle has a different set of wheels for summer and winter, the summer wheel weighs only 12 kilograms, and the winter one 26.

These are summer cameras from the UAZ 280 to 508 on fifteen inch drives, in principle they can allow the all-terrain vehicle to stay afloat.
On corners, the all-terrain vehicle is quite resistant to tipping over.

And in this photo you can see the Karkat pereobutan under the winter track:

The small size of the front wheel is due to the fact that this all-terrain vehicle does not have a power steering, so it will be very difficult to twist the Krazov camera.

This approach also has disadvantages in terms of cross-country ability, that is, an all-terrain vehicle will not pass through deep snow. In the future, the author plans to change the weight distribution and install a larger wheel all the same forward.

also from the following upgrades, the following are considered: welding or differential lock, remove the intermediate shaft by installing 11 dental stars on the engine instead of it, although it will be a consumable of about 2 stars per season. Or use the intermediate shaft not only as a shaft, but also as an additional brake, and install a star for 13 teeth on the engine.

As the main brake in an all-terrain vehicle, brakes from a motorcycle Rising-2m, pads along with an asterisk are used.

Expansion work on the all-terrain vehicle body is also planned.

Regarding the magneto connection: it is organized gently through the conveyor belt, but as it turned out during operation, the magneto is very vulnerable to damp and moisture, so the author seriously considers replacing it with Minsk-Voskhod ignition, but this will require serious turning work.

It is also planned to replace the engine with the engine from the Planet motorcycle.

Since for this engine it is easy to organize cooling in the form of a fan and a cover from a wheelchair, unlike a jupiter, in which it is still necessary to install a motor from a Zhiguli stove directly in front of the cylinders and adjust the ignition, since it is there six volts.

Water tests of the all-terrain vehicle were carried out: the river was rafted, the driver and passenger in the boat, and the all-terrain vehicle on a leash:

To improve the swimming properties of the all-terrain vehicle, two chambers were tied to it on each side, and a camera was also fixed under the motor, so magneto was not injured.

Wings were made from external modifications for the all-terrain vehicle:

After the main modifications and modifications of the all-terrain vehicle, it began to look like this:

The width of the bridge of the all-terrain vehicle is 130 centimeters.
