The author of the book, an American specialist in the field of radio electronics, a university lecturer, described in detail the methodology of breadboard modeling, the manufacture of printed circuit boards using various methods, and gave general recommendations for working with integrated circuits. The book also discusses the circuitry of power supplies, stabilizers and voltage regulators, which can be used to power alarm devices.
In all the described devices, the author applied integrated circuits that simplify the assembly process and make the assembled structures more compact. IPs are used abroad, but they are widespread and most of them have domestic counterparts, and a list of possible replacements is given at the end of the book.
