Hello dear visitors of the site. I want to bring to your attention a stand for convenient storage of tools in a small workshop.
To work, you need the following tools:
Saw, drill, hammer, screwdriver or screwdriver, planer, chipboard, several hinges, nails and screws.
Step 1. To get started, you need a board 25 millimeters thick. The basis for attaching the stands to the wall surface will be made of it. We trim it and divide it into equal parts (in my case). At the edges we drill holes for fastening. If without them, then there is a risk of splitting the workpiece. I fastened with nails, since the wall coating thickness is very large, there were no such long screws.
We fasten these blanks with nails or self-tapping screws to the wall.
Step 2. Now take the chipboard. We divide it by the number of blanks for the stands you need, in accordance with what tools you will store on it. My chipboard is one meter long and about 45 centimeters wide. Therefore, I decided to cut it into two blanks with a length of 50 centimeters.
Step 3. Now that all the main details are ready, proceed to the main action. We take the hinges and with the help of wood screws we attach to our chipboard blank. You should get a part like a cabinet door.
Now that the hinges on the “door” are attached, we begin to fasten them to our wooden base, which is nailed to the wall.
We perform similar actions with the remaining blanks. In the "naked" form, the stand looks like this:
I only had enough chipboard for two blanks, so the stand will be “two-door”. But you can leave a place for a few more doors, so that later there is a place where to fix.
Step 4. Now you need to decide on the placement of tools on the stand. I made the holders for some tools wooden, so that if necessary, just break them off, and after grinding, move them to another place. Having drilled a hole in the right place, he simply hammered a wooden veneer there. Here is the finished rack and my distribution of tools on it:
The remaining places on the stand will be filled as necessary with a tool.
I wish you all good luck!
