If you want to add not only entourage to your summer cottage, but also a fair amount of comfort - think about building a gazebo on it as soon as possible. This is a great place to relax in any weather.
It is no secret that the main misfortune of summer residents is bad weather. If you drive construction country house or its repair, it is worth considering how to make do it yourself also a gazebo.
Usually finished arbors are quite expensive, and the option "do it yourself"allows you to provide everything you need, take into account the needs and desires of all households.
Leaving the city, I want to relax. But when it rains outside, you still have to “cook” in the house. For these cases, a gazebo will come in handy.
Do-it-yourself gazebo is easy. You can sketch a simple project of this not entirely capital construction in just a couple of hours.
First of all, I would like to recommend to builders who build a gazebo with their own hands, to think over the foundation. After all, he will take the brunt of the cold season, during the periods of spring flood. It is best if at least one crown is made of blocks - so the structure does not warp in the spring and autumn, and will last as long as possible.
In addition, two mutually exclusive things must be considered - ventilation in the gazebo and comfort during rain. To do this, it is better to use the old frames with glass left over from replacing ordinary apartment windows with PVC. It is not difficult to get such ones by agreement with neighbors who have recently changed windows.
However, do not celebrate ahead of time - it is better not to install windows close to the top edge, under the very roof of the gazebo. Of course, the lower "windows" are not very convenient - in this case, drafts and autumn winds will overly cool the guests. Therefore, let the air circulate at least at the top or think through the system of opening and closing windows as desired.
It is also important to leave at least one side of the gazebo fully open - it can be done with doors up to half the height of the gazebo or even lower. This is important for maintaining cleanliness and order in the gazebo, protecting it from animals, sometimes unceremoniously walking around the site.
The openings formed between the wooden lower half and the roof on the sides of the entrance can be easily “masked” - both with decorative elements (for example, planks) and climbing plants.
And, of course, you need to take care of the roof. Too dark "dull" slate roof can spoil the look of the gazebo. And the nowadays transparent materials - completely change the idea of the gazebo as a cool place in the heat - after all, the sun's rays easily pass through them, heating the gazebo already protected from the wind in the sunshine itself.
Therefore, the most reasonable solution is either a wooden and covered with some kind of material roof of the arbor, or weaving plants planted on it.
It will be advisable to perform the floor in the gazebo either in two layers, or vice versa - with a small distance between the boards. Otherwise, it will soon - in a couple of years - require replacement due to the difficult operating conditions of this "holiday house". And painting all the wooden details of the interior of the gazebo and its facade with a good, weather-resistant paint is mandatory for any types of gazebos outside the city.
