Many residents living in their own house use water and wells to provide water. Nowadays, most people no longer go to the street with a bucket or a flask for water, but spend water in the house by installing a pump that maintains the necessary pressure. There are all the possibilities, there are plastic pipes and all other accessories on sale. Anyone can, if they wish, independently carry water into the house. But sometimes difficulties can arise. For example, suddenly in the middle of winter there will be problems with a well or a submersible pump. And now I also had problems - water disappeared and before the onset of heat there is no opportunity to restore the well or to drill another one. There was only one opportunity left to provide the house with water - to take buckets and go to the column, then put the washbasin since you can no longer use either the faucet in the kitchen or the shower. Such a prospect somehow did not please me. Thinking, I decided to build just such a system. Of course, you will have to go to the column for water, but I fill it directly into the system from the street, without going into the house. Now the house is provided with water and all previous conveniences are preserved. I drew a diagram roughly, not respecting the proportions but the meaning is clear.
The reckless pump is in my underground, there I installed a water tank of about 100 liters.
I made another lid for the tank from wood and drilled holes for pipes in it. I bought pipes at a hardware store.
The filler neck was made from a five-liter bottle. The pipe goes underground through an outlet.
It took three hours to assemble the structure. One problem remained - how to find out the water level in the tank.
At first I made a simple system with a float, the thread from the float was thrown through a block taken from an old reel tape recorder, a load was tied to the end of the thread. Then he improved the pointer by collecting a simple
electronic scheme.
Of course, 100 liters is not enough and water often has to be added, but the whole system is done temporarily until the opportunity to restore the well comes.
