We will need:
1. A paper tube on which fabrics are usually wound.
2. Twist-off caps from small glass jars - 5 pcs, and one larger diameter.
3. Adhesive tape.
4. Furniture handle
5 A piece of thick rubber.
6 4 screws with a washer.
Take a paper tube. They can be easily found in garbage containers from sewing firms, companies producing soft of furniture, or at fabric stores. Cut off a piece of the desired length from it. (It depends on the size of your skewers). Then we need these covers. I took jar lids that sold horseradish, mustard, etc. I put the two covers together and wrapped them with tape: We need to make two of these “drums” One of our "drums" is inserted into the pipe. If it is not inserted tightly, we wind up some more adhesive tape, or electrical tape. And fasten with screws:
Next, we take the lid of a larger diameter and the remaining small one, drill holes in the centers and connect using the furniture handle from the old drawer. And then we fasten our second "drum" with tape with a scotch tape. (I wrapped it with electrical tape) It turns out the cover for our tube:
All! Almost ready! You need to fasten some kind of belt on it for easy carrying. I did this with scotch tape. At the same time I wrapped the tube with wrapping paper and wrapped it with tape on top.
It remains to fill it with skewers:
Yes, I completely forgot ... I also cut a circle out of thick rubber and pushed it to the bottom of the tube so that the skewers would not pierce the bottom.
Now the skewer has become very convenient to carry and carry in the car - they do not fly apart, they don’t prick anything. And in the pantry, a tube with them is convenient to hang on the wall so that it does not take up space.
Tasty kebabs for you!
