Hello everyone, dear friends, today I will show you a wonderful idea on how to make a stand for a soldering iron. Using this stand, you can conveniently store various soldering accessories, also there is a holder on it that allows you to conveniently support boards, etc. Such a stand will take a minimum of costs, and it is easy to make do it yourself.
Necessary materials:
- plywood
- galvanization
- bars
- bolt with nuts
- office clothespin
- self-tapping screws
Step 1: First of all, we take plywood 250 * 400 mm in size. and thoroughly clean it with sandpaper.
Step 2: Then we take galvanizing, and cut out the part according to the drawing. You can take stainless steel or any other material. Edges need to be processed with sandpaper.
Step 3: Using screws, fasten the part to the plywood.
Step 4: Then I needed to make a place so that there was solder, rosin, flux, etc. I took small bars and made a small "fence" for these things. Each size can be different, it depends on the items that will be stored on your stand.
Step 5: Next, take a metal plate, I took it from under the old Soviet designer. Then we take a paper clip, it can be of any size, it depends on what you want to clamp there. And fix it with bolts to the plate. Next, we fix this design to the bolt, as shown in the photo.
And now our stand is ready!
