All-terrain vehicle from a motoblock

Nowadays, a motor-block is very popular in rural areas, since basically everyone is engaged in private farming and have this unit. Apply for all types of work, whether it is plowing, cultivation, transportation of goods. No matter how good the iron horse is, it doesn’t reach the all-terrain vehicle and the men build cross-country vehicles from motoblocks in the village. So our author, inspired by the ideas of rural peasants, decided to make such an all-terrain vehicle

And so what did the author need to assemble the all-terrain vehicle

Instruments: welding machine, drill, grinder, set of keys, hammer, screwdriver, wire cutters.

Materials: walk-behind tractor, square and round pipes, angles, bolts, screws, GAZ 53 cameras, Lada disks, steering column, hubs, thrust, fittings, steel wire.

So what guided our author in the development of this unit is, of course, drawings and sketches

The first basis of the basics is of course the frame. The author cuts the size of the pipe blanks and corners, then welds everything into a single skeleton


The frame is ready to do the rollers as a basis. Lada disks were taken, steel reinforcement and wire are welded to the disk as shown in the photo.


After the disks are ready, the author puts on the cameras from the GAZ 53 car

And in the end it turns out here is such a wonderful skating rink that our roads are not afraid of

Further, the steering was installed, removed once by the author from an old Lada and carefully stored in the garage


Then the whole structure was sanded, primed, and painted.

Then the wheels were put on the brake drum from the motorcycle sunrise, all the drives were connected





The author installs the last stage of the engine from the walk-behind tractor, put it on an all-terrain vehicle, and if necessary, throws it back within ten minutes, very convenient.

Also, later, the author put the gearbox from an old Lada four speeds, for an even distribution of traction

Put the generator and battery in order to install the headlights, now you can drive at night and not scary

And as expected after the assembly of the all-terrain vehicle, you need to test what it is capable of, and the author saddles an iron horse and rolled into the forest
