DIY garden tool stand

How good it is in that country house or in a personal plot where everything is well-groomed, clean and tidy. Paths were made between the beds so that the dirt would not be pulled over the site and each thing and tool was in its place. When everything is neat in the garden and everything is in place, harmony and tranquility prevail there and vegetables grow faster and sweeter))).

As in any other business, success requires order and discipline. And so to speak about the order in the summer cottage, the inventory should be in working and tidy condition. How to achieve this goal? Yes, it’s very simple, for the tool you need to make a stand, as shown in the photo above. The tool will always be at hand and in a conspicuous place. So our author also likes everything to be in order. I decided to make a rack for garden tools from improvised means do it yourself.

And so what will the author need for his venture?

Materials: boards, whetstones, nails, screws, two latches.
Instruments: hacksaw, hammer, screwdriver, angle, ruler, tape measure.

Materials and tools are ready, the author proceeds to work, according to this drawing.

First, the foundation of the future structure is knocked together from the bars.

Nailed here such planks here.

In the middle, I pinned a crossbar with bars to prevent the tool from rolling.

Then the author decided to make the stand multifunctional and attach a bench for relaxation, folding type on hinges.

The bench rises and is fixed with a latch.

Let’s say they wanted to sit, threw back the bench and sat down.

Wanted to put the tool, very convenient.

Now the tool will always be in one place.

He also thought through and made hangers for a small tool.

Well, that’s all the stand for the garden tool is ready, the author is very pleased.

It can be seen that the man tried, done with the soul, accurately, but completely not functional:
1. To sit on a bench, as rightly remarked Business, you need to remove the entire tool, including the small one, somewhere (in a heap, probably).
2. Limiters for cuttings perform their function very conditionally due to the small thickness.
3. The working bodies of the shovels, rake, pitchfork are located in the same plane with layering on top of each other. For compactness and convenience, it would be more logical to place them perpendicular to the position shown in the photo (possibly, except for a wide rake).
Man tried, did. But in my opinion there are disadvantages even with this simplicity.
Need a roof, this shop is not clear and when to use it? Lattice floors are not good. just to get a small tool, you need to delve into a large one.
