DIY Hydraulic Juicer

DIY Hydraulic Juicer
Nowadays, there are a huge number of juicers for every taste and every pocket, but of course they all cost money and not every summer resident or a gardener can afford an import combine, although of course you want to). But what if there is no money, be smart.

All summer residents in the fall have a very large abundance of apples and pears, they do not know where to harvest their crops. The solution, as always, is simple, squeeze the juice from this crop and stock up on this valuable drink for the future. Many gardeners canned juice is stored until the new harvest of apples and pears. Of course it is very useful to drink the actual squeezed juice than from a store bag.

The author, having no finance for the purchase of a foreign juicer, decided to construct his own sample of this mechanism. Yes, not simple, but hydraulic, which of course will facilitate the physical work of our inventor and reduce the time spent on this process. Our hero collects the design without attachments from what he found in the garage and in the country. The concept of the idea is simple and clear, like a white day. He is going to make a frame from a channel, a support for the camera. And the process of squeezing the juice will occur under the influence of a hydraulic jack. Everything is simple and clear, and most importantly, everyone is available without money. Getting to work.

Materials: metal channel, corner, jack, old pan, block of wood, board, screws, drill head for mixing mortar.

Instruments: welding machine, drill, grinder, hammer, pliers, screwdriver.
And so, first of all, the author cuts the angles and the channel in size.

Sizes all parts on a ruler

And begins to weld the structure

Here is the stand for the juicer ready.

Yes, and another interesting fact for the convenience of the subsequent process of squeezing the juice, first we turn the apples into porridge beforehand by grinding with such a device.

This is a nozzle on a drill for mixing mortar. As you can see in the photo, he drilled holes and tightened the screws. And subsequently from apples

Under the rotational actions of this fixtures it turns out such a mulch.

For the camera was chosen, here's a pan with drilled holes.

On top of the cake is covered by such a circle sawn from a board with a jigsaw.

And such a block will press on this board.

That's all, we load the resulting mulch into the unit.

We pump the jack and now the juice has already run a thin stream in the receiving tank.

The author pumped himself a bottle of excellent and healthy apple juice, no chemistry, only benefits and vitamins. Now he will be provided with this drink for the whole year until the next harvest of apples and pears.

And why was the lower movable cross member made? On the springs which.
I have a similar design, only I have a "pot in a pot" - the inside is leaky, and in the outside fitting. And the outside is tightly flooded in a concrete base ... So it’s more convenient - with sharp compression sometimes the juice beats sideways with trickles. Again, do not limit yourself with effort - if you change the container nabo - I closed the tap on the fitting and changed ...
So, I put a 20-ton jack on the oak "damn" and press. Then, if necessary, I put in more “pancakes” - the “pan” I have is big - 40 liters.
And why cross?
