We remake the taillights on the VAZ 2108/2109

In this story, the author decided to share how you can remake standard taillights on the VAZ 2108 and, accordingly, on the Nine. After such a rework, the lights begin to work in a fundamentally new way. Standard lighting llamas here are replaced by LED strip, which works much more reliable than lamps, and more durable.
Such tuning is done quite simply and quickly, anyone who once held a soldering iron can handle this.

Materials and tools for manufacturing:
- matte black paint;
- epoxy resin;
- overlays for lamps (black);
- LED Strip Light;
- drill with drills;
- diodes;
- black silicone sealant;
- soldering iron with solder, wires, scissors and other little things.

The process of tuning the lights:


Step one. Installation of LEDs and painting lights
First, an LED strip must be glued to the outside of the lamp. To do this, initially you need to mark the lamp and determine how the diodes will be located on it. Further, the LED strip must be fixed with epoxy. Otherwise, the tape will lag, as the diodes become quite hot during operation.

After that, you need to cut out the squares from the paper and stick them on each LED, this is necessary for protection so that the diode is not painted. Well, after that, the lantern is painted in matt black right on top of the LEDs. After the paint has dried, the papers can be removed and the diodes will be open.

Step Two Installation of overlays for lamps
To hide the LEDs, lining is installed on top of the lamp, which the author previously buys in the store. A pair of such lamps cost 400 rubles, black lamps were selected. Thanks to this, native lights are almost invisible even during the day, due to the fact that it is painted black. The pads are fastened with black silicone sealant, this ensures good tightness and fixation.

Step Three Diode connection
To connect LED strips, in the native lamp you need to make holes for the wires.Further, the wires are simply soldered to those contacts to which standard bulbs are connected. The stop signal and size must be connected through diodes, for this diodes from rectifier bridges are suitable, since they are powerful enough for these purposes. Conventional diodes can burn out. When you press the brake, not only the brake lights, but also the rear dimensions light up.

Well, accordingly, you must not forget to connect the right and left turn.
