Each summer resident and a resident of a country house is faced with a problem, living in a country house, accustomed to urban comfort, wants to take a bath or shower, and I don’t really want to run into the street every time I need. And the trouble is that there is no central sewage system. Today this problem is easily solved, there are a large number of sewerage schemes for summer houses and country houses.
The author does not have much money to buy a septic tank and decides to build it with his own hands. Having studied the principle of operation of this sewerage, I came to the conclusion that there is nothing complicated in this. The septic tank consists of two tanks connected by a pipe, the first serves for sludge and shrinkage and decomposition of the solid parts of human waste, and its liquid part when completely filled flows into the second tank called for gray waters and then into the drainage. That's essentially the whole principle of operation of this sewer.
The author wanted to make his septic tank in concrete design because the groundwater level is far and there is no reason to fear an environmental disaster))). Gives advice to anyone whose groundwater level is close to the surface, it is strictly necessary to use sealed plastic septic tanks to avoid contamination of wells. So what was needed to implement his idea.
Materials: M-500 brand cement, sand, plastic film, metal corner, fittings, slate flat, boards, nails, wire, sewer pipes, brick.
Instruments: shovel, hacksaw, hammer, welding machine, pliers.
From the beginning, the author gives a diagram of his septic tank.
Then he dug a hole under the sewer.
I dug below the freezing level with a trench and laid a sewer pipe in it.
Then he proceeds to prepare and reinforce the future structure.
Then the formwork was built and concrete was poured.
Two weeks later, the formwork was removed.
Installed a new formwork to correct defects
We look what happened
From the top the author from corners and fittings welded just such a lid.
Next, I put a flat slate on the reinforcement.
And on top I poured cement mortar.
Over the inspection hatches, I welded such a frame from the corners, and overlaid it with brick.
And then he fell asleep with earth and covered it with a lid. And one more thing, as you can see in the photo, the author brought out a ventilation pipe.
That's all the sewage system for a country house is ready and now you can take a bath and shower in the house.
