Homemade Block Carriers

Those people who have ever built something in their life, whether it's a house or garage, cellar, annex, know all the hardships of this construction. During even a short construction, you can feel all the joys and burdens in the construction business. When carrying out work, a huge amount of physical labor is spent, and of course financial resources.

From ancient times people invent mechanisms, and fixtures to facilitate and rationalize physical labor, and as a result, its productivity. In order not to lift loads, and stones to a height, a man came up with a winch, in order to simplify the transportation of small loads during construction, he invented a wheelbarrow, and much more.

The same person did the same with building materials, he improved them, made them easier, and as a result of the improvements, construction it went much faster and much easier.

The author, who started the construction of his own country house, in order to facilitate his physical work, decided to make a kind of device for carrying concrete cinder blocks. To the extent of its decent specific gravity, the cinder block has to be transferred to a masonry place in a single copy, of course, you can do it in two, but without special adaptation, after a couple of such flights your hands will simply fall off))). So, in order to increase the number of transported blocks to the number of 2 pieces, I made a device for carrying blocks from reinforcement and a piece of plastic water pipe.

The principle of this product is quite simple, and is available to every builder, or to a person who wants to build his own personal home. He bent the hooks from two pieces of reinforcement, and put a piece of plastic tube on them at the junction, which will serve as a handle. That's the whole design.

And now let's take a closer look at what was needed to create this device, and how it performed the assembly work.

Materials: fittings with a diameter of 10 mm, a plastic pipe of 20 mm.
Instruments: vice, grinder, welding machine, hammer, metal pipe.

And so the drawing of the future fixture first does.
Then, according to the given dimensions, saws off two blanks from the reinforcement.
And then clamps it in a vice, and bends the reinforcement to the shape it needs.
Then he makes a pen out of a plastic pipe.
Then it welds at the contact point of two fittings.
Now the device for carrying concrete blocks is ready.
