2 in 1: pool and pond

2 in 1: pool and pond

Good day, dear users of the site. In this article I want to show you how one family brought to life an interesting idea. Those who have suburban areas, or those who live permanently in rural areas, often decide to erect some kind of pool or pond on their site. So, the author of this topic went further and immediately combined in his yard both a pool and a pond. In my opinion, an interesting and original idea, and let skeptics provide their own version of the development of events.

This is how this plot originally looked. Nothing remarkable. In the photo, you will see an interesting transformation from a boring courtyard into an interesting and embodied idea.

The author marked the pit on the construction site, in which the pool will be placed. Further, with the help of a tractor, I dug up this very foundation pit.

After the pit was dug, a pipe is drawn to filter the water structure.

Now digging, already by hand, the recess, which will be a pond.

Further, the finished recesses are covered with insulating materials. The bottom is made of geotextile, and a waterproofing film is spread on top. The edges were pressed with heavy objects so that in case of windy weather the material would not “wrap”.

A pond pool filtration system was installed in the room.

Then proceeded to lining the bottom and walls of the pool. Tiles were laid at the bottom, and the edges were laid out with decorative bricks. Small pebbles were poured into the pond. Filled with water.

Luminous lamps led along the edge of the pool.

Now decorated the pond. Planted water plants and added other decorations. Here is what happened.

As you can see in the photo, it turned out very nice and interesting, but somehow it's empty. Therefore, it was decided to make a wooden terrace around the pool-pond. The base was made of a metal profile, on top of which a wooden crate was laid and boards were fixed on it. The result was a multi-level terrace.

And ultimately, this is what the whole composition looks like.

This is not for the "masters"))))) This is for wealthy people who can hire someone .. Such a film for pools costs a lot of money! (This is something like an awning fabric. Very heavy. The two of us carried a piece of 5 by 4 meters, and the four of us barely laid it out. And this one brought a machine with a manipulator, and a whole team of builders packed it.
And how much it costs - I can’t even imagine!))) It’s cheaper to make a rough reinforced screed, then a fused hydroisol. More trouble in time and strength, but really MOST can be done cheaper ...
- Why do we need frogs? : no:
-From mosquitoes! : wink:
- So we don’t have them. : sad:
-And we will get them! To start, dig the pool ...: fellow:
