But with the construction of a house on several floors, the question arises of creating a staircase for climbing to the upper floors of the building. In suburban two-story cottages of brick, the stairs leading to the second floor can be made of different materials. The main condition under which such a design will not look heavy and bulky in the interior is the size of the room. The larger it is, the more appropriate the concrete staircase in a country house.
The author decided to make a concrete staircase to the second floor of his house, do it yourselfwhile saving some money. To build this staircase, you first need to make the formwork with the shape of the steps, and it is quite difficult, but if feasible, you also need to lay the reinforcement bars over the entire length of the formwork made.
Materials: 30 mm board, cement, sand, pebbles, reinforcement, knitting wire.
Instruments: hacksaw, container for mortar, shovel, trowel, pliers, hammer, vibrator.
First, he gives us drawings and diagrams of the stairs.
The first thing in the wall is making a groove for installing the formwork.
The bottom is done from the beginning.
Gradually moves to the top.
Also the most important thing is the middle.
And actually the very top.
Then, in the same sequence, the upper formwork is installed, from bottom to top.
Pre-stacked fittings, pieces of OSB should be placed under it to raise it by a few centimeters.
And so on to the very top.
Then the whole farm is poured with mortar, from the very bottom to the top, passing everything with a deep vibrator to remove air cavities. At the end of pouring, the staircase is left alone for two weeks, then the formwork is gradually removed, the lower one is removed only after a month and this is what results.
The ladder is ready, he is very pleased with his work, and he is also pleased with the idea of saving money for the family budget.
