Most of those who have their own summer cottages or personal plots seek to bring beauty to them and decorate them with something. So the author of this master class decided to create something beautiful and original on his personal plot.
The choice fell on gabions. The author will make a bench in the recreation area with backlight.
First, take a grid with the required cell size. A rectangular base is made of it. The platform on which she will stand is sprinkled with gravel in order to avoid subsidence and distortions of the structure, since her weight will be quite decent. Everything is leveled with a building level.
The edges of the mesh are fastened together using a spiral wire. But if you don’t have one or do not want to do it, you can safely fasten the mesh with wire or stainless steel brackets.
Next, when the platform and the base of the gabions are ready, we proceed to laying stones in it. Stones should be 20-40% larger than the cell size so that they do not fall out. Gradually filling the base with stones, do not forget to make wire ties on the walls so that the stones do not burst the structure. At the height you need, install the lights. Electrical wires are held in a plastic pipe or self-extinguishing corrugated hose.
After the cable and stones are laid, you can close the entire structure.
Further, the author on the site, fenced with stone, makes a sandbox for children.

On top of the gabions, either a board or another "landing pad" is installed, which must be treated with a water-repellent composition.
And this is what results in the final result of all efforts. Fairly easy to manufacture design.
