This article alone auto decided to build an artificial attractor that will constantly attract fish to itself. In other words, it turned out something like an eternal underwater feeding trough, in which everything happens naturally. For the manufacture of homemade you will need a minimum of materials and tools, however, you can use other materials instead of plastic.
Materials and tools for manufacturing:
- pieces of unnecessary plastic pipes (the author remained after the repair);
- pieces of a composite plastic board;
- screws;
- drill;
- a hacksaw;
- cement (or a couple of bricks for cargo);
- a bucket or piece of pipe of large diameter (the author's capacity was about 15 liters in volume).
Homemade manufacturing process:
Step one. Putting the foundation together
First you need to take a large diameter pipe and screw a piece of the board to its lower part, it will serve as a bottom. To fix the board, you can use self-tapping screws, the holes are drilled with a drill. Of course, if a large bucket will be used, then the creation of the bottom will not be needed. In principle, the bottom is not necessary, it all depends on the type of cargo used. If you pour liquid cement into a bucket, then only in this case you will need a bottom. Also, bricks can be used as cargo, fixing them to the wire in the lower part.
Step Two Making limbs for the attractor
To the device is well overgrown with algae, and was the habitat of various organisms, one capacity will not be enough.You need to screw a pair of pipes of small diameter to the tank, they will simultaneously be the home for various microorganisms. For these purposes, holes of suitable diameter are drilled in the housing and pipes are inserted into them. You can also melt the holes with a hot object, for example, with a screwdriver.
Since the author used slag concrete as a sinker, he is fixed with several colored PVC pipes. As for fixing the pipes, then it will not be necessary if the pipes enter a pull-in, that is, the holes are not too large. In extreme cases, they can be fixed with a wire, screwed to the main tank.
Step Three Design installation
You need to install the structure in a place of constant fishing, it will constantly attract fish here. The most important thing here is to remember exactly where the device is located, otherwise you can hook on it and break off the tackle. It is best to tie a rope to the attractant, and on the other end a float that will be clearly visible on the surface of the water. This will be a good reference for casting.
The longer the attractant will stand under water, the more it will grow with algae and attract fish. According to the author, the attractant reaches its maximum efficiency after 1-2 seasons. However, if it is installed in early spring, then it will already begin its work by summer.
Of course, the design of the device can be any other, and the materials can be varied. Alternatively, for such purposes, you can use wooden stumps in which you can install branches or the same pipes. You can make several such attractants, having equipped, thus, your place of constant fishing.
