When repairing a car, it becomes necessary to illuminate the place of repair. It’s good if you repair your car in the garage where there is lighting. And if such a need arose on the road and even at night? The original idea to remake a USB-lamp into a car carrying came to the author’s head homemade.
For alteration in the store, he bought a USB lamp itself, wires, crocodiles and 60 Ohm resistance
First you need to disassemble the lamp. Having bitten off with pliers, the USB connector disassembles it, pulling out the metal plug from the plastic case.
Having expanded the hole in the USB-case, one end of the wire is inserted there and connects it to the wires of the lamp (do not forget about the polarity), crocodiles are soldered to the other end of the wire (red +, black-).
Then it winds the corrugation of the lamp onto the USB-case. Having disassembled the lamp itself, solders the resistance, collects. And the last touch the author glues 2 magnets to the USB-case (you can glue the magnets with cloth so that they do not scratch the paint of the car)
We dress a plus (red) crocodile on +, a minus (black) on - a battery. Now we have a portable lamp working from the on-board network, and which can be attached to any metal surface hood, wheel, underbody.
