Step Three Engine model
For the aircraft you need an engine, it is selected depending on the power source. The most ordinary motor that can be found in toys is quite suitable. But he can be rather weak. It is best to purchase a special engine without a manifold for such homemade products, they are lightweight, durable and powerful.The engine is mounted in front of the fuselage. It is important to fix it well so that it does not move.
Step Four Control airplane
The aircraft will be controlled with the help of ailerons and elevators. In order to make these elements movable, they need to be cut out and then glued with tape. You can use several layers of tape for reliability. To attach the rods to the steering planes, make boars and install them as indicated in the picture.
The steering planes will be driven by two servomotors. One servomotor is needed to control the ailerons, and one to control the elevator. The motor for controlling the ailerons is mounted in the center of the wing, then you need to make thrusts from steel wire and use them to connect the ailerons to the servomotor.
As for the motor, which drives the elevator, it is installed at half the length of the fuselage.
Servos are fastened with hot glue or Titan special glue. In the latter case, it is advisable to wrap the paper with adhesive tape before gluing.
Step Five Electronics Installation
At the final stage, all the necessary aircraft controls are installed, as well as a power source. This includes the engine speed control, electronics for controlling the radio signal, and the battery. All these elements are mounted on the fuselage. Arrange the elements in such a way that their mass falls on about 23-25% of the width of the wing. Only in this case model will fly as it should.
