What they just don’t do from wood cuts. Garden paths, shelves, countertops, interior decoration and much more. Using cuts instead of floors in a living room is what our author decided to do.
Materials and Tools
dry logs of different diameters;
a circular saw;
grinding machine;
liquid Nails:
grout for tiles;
polyurethane varnish for wood;
From dry logs of different diameters on a circular saw he sawed round round about the same thickness.
Using a grinding machine, each saw is polished.
Prepared the base of the floor by removing the old coating. There was a concrete screed under the bottom, which facilitated the author's further work.
Then he lay down the saw cuts as densely as possible to each other.
Empty space fills with smaller saw cuts, twigs.
Having laid out the entire area with the help of liquid nails, each saw cuts to the floor.
After waiting for the glue to dry, the author smoothes and polishes the floor with a grinding machine. The floor should be even and smooth.
Tile grout wipes the gap between cuts.
After waiting for the grout to dry completely, the floor was covered with polyurethane varnish for wood. Varnish applied so that he fell into all the cracks. Polyurethane varnish is applied in 3-4 layers. After drying the varnish, the floor from the saw cuts of the tree is completely ready.
