DIY do-it-yourself needle burner

Hello!
Today we will make a mini burnout. For this we need:
1. Two needles from a syringe
2. 5v power supply
3. Electrical tape
4. pen

Two needles must be wound on the handle, secure them with electrical tape, insert the wire into the handle and wrap the contacts with the needles, plus one needle, minus the other. The needles should touch the tips.

Attention!!! The tips of the needles heat up to very high temperatures, so in no case should they touch the skin, eyes, etc., etc.

To better touch the needles, you need to fix them with a piece of electrical tape or solder.

I understand the view is not aesthetic, it is possible and better, but this thing fulfills its tasks. In general, you can break off the needles from the plastic, wrap them around the handle and for better contact, solder the wires to the needles, but I think it will work. Thank you all for your attention. Till!

Valery, did not forget. In order to achieve this burning, first you still need to have a large current.
And here it is - immediately the strongest minus !!! ... To burn it better, you need a blue one! ... So that for an adult! )))))
The main "center" of resistance was forgotten - the junction of the needles. Moreover, after several calcinations ...
And most importantly: why the insulating tape is not canonical blue?! )))
I measured the resistance of the needle from the syringe to 10 ml. Meryl M890F, of course, it has a minimal measurement range for this case: 200 Ohms, but there was nothing else. The resistance of closed probes is an average of 0.2 Ohms, with a connected needle an average of 0.5 Ohms, the needle resistance is 0.3 Ohms, 2 needles - 0.6 Ohms. Everything, of course, is very approximate, but the order is clear. 5 V / 0.6 Ohm = 8 A. In fact, you need to add resistance of the lead wires to 0.6 Ohm (in the photo they are pretty, 0.5 square, 1 m of such a cable, if it is copper, will give about 0.06 Ohm ), the transition resistance in the connector to the power supply (if it is as in the photo, the parameter is excluded) and the transition resistance in the place of shitty (if as in the photo) wire wrapping on the needles. So amp 5 will be.
Is it short? The needles are not copper and not silver)))) ... Yes, and thin ... A couple of amperes is enough to heat ....
Short circuit. Well this is what a block can stand.
