Question on 3G antennas

What are the differences between an antenna at 17 dB and 24 dB, who knows? Here it’s visually 24 dB longer, I didn’t notice other differences. Although the diameters of the tubes are probably different.

If I extend the antenna by 17 dB, will it be more powerful?

At 17 dB
Question on 3G antennas

At 24 dB

oh why is it, interestingly, I’ll try to experiment. I have an aluminum reflector from the lamp, it fits in size, I'll try to put it and see what happens)
"Supplement" does not work, because the reflector (in size) is already in the antenna

Another question. If this antenna is supplemented with a satellite dish, will there be an effect? That is, screw on the back, and set 3G in the center.

receive channels range from 869.04 to 893.97 MHz
transmission channels are in the frequency range from 824.04 to 848.86 MHz
receiving channel center frequency - 881.5 MHz
the central frequency of the transmission channel is 836.5 MHz
bandwidth average 25 MHz
carrier pitch on average 1.25 MHz

SO available ??

The antenna is not collective farm, but a special intertelecom antenna for this frequency

Yes, I have up to 1.9 Mbps, but my house is higher, and my friend’s speed is 0.12-0.50 max at 1 km from me)) There is only one provider, there are three BS around, but it’s of little use.
Mr. Pronin is a site for ordinary people, as I understand it, and not a highly specialized one. Now, if you write an article in such a language as commentary, then 5 people will read it. And if I’m writing as accessible and understandable, then 25 people (figuratively). And the task of all our articles is just to attract as many visitors + ads + denyuzhek as possible. If you have a complaint about the articles I wrote, write there we will discuss, if this is my cant of course.
Signal -98dBm.And the frequency of reception ?? We must try to write technically correctly, and not like Pogranets in the literary language for young ladies :)
Once again - the Uda-Yagi antenna is NARROW! pointed ... You bring the Khokhlad antennas that are for CDMA (Intertelecom, PEOPLEnet). And they are at a frequency of up to 890 MHz! And if you (the provider) have GSM900, then the reception frequency is 935-960 MHz (?) Or you don’t see the difference at all, don’t. So you nadit antenna with a maximum closer to the frequency of reception. If GSM900, then 920 MHz
At one time I was tormented with these modems. Both above and below, and the antennas are different and the firmware, and the operators changed. Veli cable connected and everything is fine. But now the modems have begun to work normally at least 3 j at least 4. And it's not just about the quality of reception. The point is the operator who stopped cutting the "Internet". When there is no way out, the client will not go anywhere, and when the competition has to go round. And the signal level, according to the measure in my case, even if it affected the speed, is insignificant. There were moments that the Internet flies or crawls like a snail, but the condition is the same.

The signal is 98 dB, Ec / lo is big there, sort of around 5. External antenna 17 dB. Of course, you can bet on 24, but there are doubts that this will help.
<Просто дом находится в низине, сигнал очень плохо проходит.>
So you first measure that signal. Your modem is higher and without screens. To evaluate specifically what might suit you. What is the gain in dB
Author
Yes, of course. It's just that the house is in a lowland, the signal is very poorly transmitted. Raising a meter or two does not solve anything, but for more - there are losses on the cable, that is, it is already pointless.

Yes, and in itself the base in 30 kilometers probably.

And if you focus the signal like a satellite dish? Somewhere I heard about this.

I wrote the frequency of work, in the region of 800-900 MHz, at least as the provider writes.
For such antennas with high gain and narrowly directed, it is of great importance to correctly route the Coordinated cable to the Base Station (polarization vertical (?)). You need to know exactly what frequency the Base is working on. GSM 900 has a Downlink 935-960 MHz For the Antenna, the specific frequency of the Base is of paramount importance, not the names 3G, 4G, etc.
A simple unidirectional amplifier will not add anything here.
You cannot do this. The antenna amplifier for such an antenna can only serve to compensate for cable losses, but for this you will have to put two more separation (and matched) filters on the mast and the modem. You will not be able to cope with the development, manufacture and customization of this economy. The only more or less realistic option for you is to raise the Ku antenna, raise it higher, and also use a cable with minimal losses or place the modem at the antenna.

understood thanks
Antennas are different. For 24dB, the number of directors = 23, and for 17dB = 12. And the reflectors are different. Just lengthen nothing and the antenna will be upset ...
