Fans of shooting from pneumatics know how to not just find the target. It’s boring to shoot at paper targets, and you need to put jars somewhere. Easy to manufacture and practical target, the author decided to make homemade. As a target, he decided to use hinges for the castle.
Tools and materials.
1. Metal box - 1 pc.
2. Hinge for padlock - 4 pcs.
3. Washers 40 mm - 4 pcs.
4. Ruler - 1 pc.
5. Door threshold - 1 pc.
6. Magnets - 4 pcs.
7. Heat shrink tube.
8. The screwdriver.
9. Fasteners.
First, the author made a bullet collector. Taking the metal box as the basis, the author half-filled it with the remains of soft material (roofing material, linoleum). Then the cardboard was cut to the inner size of the box and fixed inside it. On each side of the lid and drawer, holes were drilled. Opening the lid of the box, the author secured it with a wire so that the angle between it and the box was 90 degrees. The next stage is the manufacture of the target itself. Having measured the internal length of the lid, I sawed off a threshold in size.
Then he put the washer on the top of the loop and put on the heat shrink tube. When warming up, the tube is compressed and tightly presses the washer to the loop. With a glue, fasten a ruler to the ledge of the threshold. For the ruler, with the help of screws, fastens the hinges so that they rest on the rulers at a small angle. Opposite the hinges, the magnets are fixed with glue, this will prevent the remaining loops from falling into one loop.
Secures the bullet catcher to the wall with the lid down. Attaches a target with screws to the box lid. You can start shooting. When it hits the top of the loop, it swings back under the influence of the bullet, and the remaining target loops held by the magnets remain in place.
