Your deeds are wonderful, Lord! One hand does not know what the other is up to!
A secret decree was received, the execution of which was entrusted to the parents of those children who go to kindergarten, where they also take my grandson. The instruction is secret, because it is lowered from above, and there is nobody above HIM - that's why I trust.
The essence of the decree is that each child in the group of a grandson must have an individual high chair. This pursues a dual purpose; updated furniture and instills a sense of responsibility of the child. So I received an urgent order from my grandson. At first, granny just wanted to buy a chair and close the question. But those chairs that for 700 rubles are made for kamikazes, and for 3,700 to buy - the budget does not allow, help out the grandfather.
In the waiting room, several scraps of thick-walled plywood and scraps of rail were waiting for their turn in the furnace.
A nice chair for the adult generation was chosen as the prototype.
Found a disassembled instance and one of its side
served as a template for the future highchair for the grandson.
The front and back parts are copied onto plywood,
and cut the workpiece with a jigsaw.
The cut parts between themselves and the bar are connected with epoxy glue
and fastened with small nails.
When the sides of the stool dried out, connected them together with slats,
again - on epoxy glue and nails.
For the seat and back of the stool, I used the remains of plywood and slats, fixing them to the frame of the stool with glue and nails.
He let the resulting stool dry
and then sharp edges and corners processed sandpaper.
The next stage is painting the stool with acrylic paint in different colors.
After drying, another coat of paint is applied and the final drying. (while he was painting the high chair, the yellow emoticon firmly perched on the seat, he did not banish him - he would give his grandfather greetings to his grandfather).
After the paint dried, the stool for the grandson was subjected to rigorous tests; my grandfather, weighing 85 kilograms, danced for two days on a high chair, helping his grandmother hang curtains on the windows. The test was successful and the highchair left for the grandson for further operation in the distant Tyumen.
Photo for memory.
Afterword: Everyone liked the stool for the grandson in the kindergarten; lightweight, durable, beautiful and most importantly - wooden. At first, there were incidents when the grandson left his place (to wash his hands, fulfill the instructions of the teacher or just relieve the need), between the individual pupils there were short fights for owning a chair for a short time.
