USB ports on computers are not always well located. On some cases, they are located on the side, which makes it difficult to access them, and on some, it is completely on the rear panel. The author undertook to solve this problem. homemade.
To make a USB extension cable, he needed: a plastic case, a USB input, a wire, as well as a soldering iron and a glue gun.
The author’s USB input was from a two-input motherboard.
He cut one USB-input, the edges of the case disappeared.
I disassembled the plastic case and got a wire with a USB output at one end.
Then connected the input to the output. The wire rang and soldered to the USB input.
I installed the connector in the middle of the plastic case and fixed it with hot glue. He closed the bottom cover. Now you can place the USB extension cable wherever convenient.
