About advantage electronic Ignition systems in relation to the usual ones are known to any moto-amateur: engine power increases, and gasoline costs decrease, engine starting is facilitated and the interrupter contacts do not burn. Moreover, this electronic console mounted on a moped automatically adjusts the ignition timing from the number of revolutions of the engine crankshaft, creating conditions close to maximum engine torque.

The moped generator generates an alternating voltage proportional to the number of revolutions of the engine crankshaft. This voltage is increased by a transformer and rectified by a diode bridge, charges the storage capacitor and energizes the electronic control device.

The transformer T 1 is wound on a magnetic core Ш 12X20. The winding I contains 160 turns of PEL wire 0.23, the winding II-2800 turns of PEL wire 0.12. With 1 - the native capacitor of the mechanical ignition system of a moped.

The device is adjusted by selecting the optimal resistance for resistor R2.

Trial tests of the electronic device on a moped revealed that when working on this ignition system, fuel savings of up to 15% are created with a noticeable increase in the motor traction.

The frame does not have to be strengthened, but you have to redo it! In the "Carpathians" - "spinal". The motor is fixed only at the rear and suspended by the cylinder. The rear mount will not fit the motor from Minsky. And in front, you need to weld the pipe to the frame to secure the front mount. In addition, there will be hemorrhage with the fact that the motor is more massive - it will need to be tilted, otherwise it will rest against the tank with its head .. Accordingly, the back mount of the engine will need to be made and welded taking into account this tilt. Well, it’s not enough to lower the front pipe from under the tank - you also need to bend it and weld it under the engine, because if the engine just hangs on two pipes that are not connected from below, it will rotate with sharp acceleration ... There will not be enough stiffness of the “cheeks”, of which you will make the engine mount.

Then the wheel almost immediately went in eights - I set it from Voskhod, I had to do the rear fork practically different. And again, move the engine back .... Something else, I remember, roofing felts with a cylinder that rested on the tank did not grow together, roofing felts with clutching of the grooved paw (and maybe with that, with another ....) I was digesting the frame already ready, so that the motor could move the motor forward ... This is the third time already ...
By the way, why do you remember so well, after more than 20 years the name of the generator - it was then that I found out that they are the same, and you don’t have to redo the electrical part, place the other stabilizer switch and so on ....
