Initially, fish was caught using a special trap, and only then did the remaining gear for fishing begin to appear. But there is no other fisherman - no, and he will use this ancient, but quite effective method of fishing. Now the main purpose of the trap is to help catch fry. The fact is that the male, after landing on a hook as an active bait for predatory fish, will not survive for a long time, ceases to be active and has little interest in predators - the main catch of the fisherman. Using a trap, you can prepare significantly more live bait fish for predatory fish and increase the results of catching large specimens several times.
Fish trap do it yourself.
The trap must be made in such a way that, once inside it, bait back could not escape back. For the manufacture of traps, you can use various unnecessary trash. Although it is regrettable, now on the shore of any reservoir you can easily find a storage for plastic bottles and use it to make a trap.
Still need twine, wire and fishing line. A great solution would be to use a bottle of lean unrefined oil - you do not need to rinse it, because the smell of oil is already a good bait for fish.
1. At a third of the height of the bottle, the neck is detached and throat inserted into the bottle.
Both parts of the bottle are held together by wire at three to four points. For rapid immersion in the abyss of our product, we make many small holes. We put inside a crust of bread, potato peelings, a load and tie a cord or twine. We throw a trap into the reservoir and fix the cord on the shore with the words: - "Catch a big fish and even more."
2. A mesh with a mesh size of no larger than 1 cm is stretched onto the prepared frame.

Two funnels are made from the same grid.
Funnels need to be fixed on both sides of the box. The narrow ends of the funnel should face the inside of the box.
The most optimal bait (oilcake, potato peelings) is laid in the trap.
