Welders know how the arm gets tired during prolonged use of the welding machine. It would seem that the weight of the welding holder is small, but if the hand is not trained, then it starts to tremble and the seam turns out to be uneven. We have to support the hand with the other hand. To solve this problem, the author, homemade, I decided to make a stand under the arm, adjustable in height.
Tools and materials:
- Telescopic tripod;
- Corner;
- Support from the fence;
-Fasteners;
-Board;
-Vise;
- Angle grinder;
-Welding machine;
-Drill;
-Roulette;
-Screwdriver.
Step 1: Making the Prop
First, the author cut and welded two pieces of support.
I cut four small pieces from the corner, having previously drilled four holes in one of the sides.
Welded corners to the support.
Step 2: Build
I screwed the board to the resulting rack, securing it from the bottom with screws.
I put the rack on a tripod.
Adjusted the height and started welding work. Now, when the hand rests on the stand, it will be much easier to weld the parts.
