There is a laptop Acer Aspire V3-571G. I took it off my hands, and after six months of use, it was necessary to replace the thermal paste. He climbed inside this miracle and found half-meter fastening loops in the lower part of the body. He poured the whole thing with epoxy glue, replaced the paste and forgot about this problem for a year. The laptop worked, opened, closed. I could not get enough of this purchase, since for such money (11k wooden), there simply couldn’t be any better option.
But then the fun began. The hinges on this laptop tend to spontaneously tighten with constant opening and closing. He climbed inside to relax the loop and heard a crunch. I disassembled this comrade and realized that the hinges came, as they say, of the khan. It also pulled out the rear slots for the bolts that pulled the bottom of the case with the keyboard. In general, he again tried to arrange an independent repair and eventually finished off his faithful friend. Now when you open the back appears 5 mm gap. the width.
Maybe my hands are certainly not golden, but with the soldering of gamepads at school age and soldering of sockets on different laptop boards, familiar problems did not arise (apparently the situation with plastic is worse).
Visits to the Internet have added clarity to this problem. The laptop in question, for the sake of a powerful filling, was endowed with not the strongest case. Then the whole thing was safely hidden under the tabletop on improvised hook-holders, and is still waiting in the wings.
And now the question itself: how to do it do it yourself motherboard case from this laptop?
The plans to pick up the monitor via hdmi or d-sub and enjoy life with a very frisky working machine. Thoughts appeared regarding the independent creation of the body completely, but it seems to me that this is already my unhealthy fantasy that overestimates my actual capabilities. If there are such things, please share the links. It is preferable to make the case for the motherboard of aluminum. Thank you all in advance for your answers.I hope you are not tired of my story: D
