Do-it-yourself spinners from a copper tube
Dear site visitors, this article will discuss, as you probably already guessed, the creation of spinners from a copper tube for winter fishing do it yourself.

To create his lure, the author used, as you understand, a 6 mm copper tube, which he had previously cut in half, it turned out 2 halves of the tube. With the resulting half made the following actions:
1) made a saw cut of 23 degrees as the famous Casmaster spinners.
2) He shaped the workpiece into a cone shape.
3) Tinned the inner surface of the tube and filled it with tin.
4) I drilled holes at the ends of the spinner, one for attaching the crown with a tee, and directly for attaching the fishing line of the leash.
5) Installation of a ring and a tee, the author also recommends adding red wool thread, or beads, or cambrices of the corresponding colors, for a better bait :)

Materials
1) 6 mm copper tube
2) tin
3) rosin
4) crown
5) tee
6) red wool thread
7) stainless steel

Instruments
1) hacksaw
2) file
3) ruler
4) sandpaper
5) soldering iron
6) drill
7) pliers
8) metal scissors

And as it was mentioned above, the author takes a copper pipe with a diameter of 6 mm to start his work.
Further, for the opposite side, the master prepared a strip of another metal of white or silver color, which is more convenient for anyone, and this metal is stainless steel which is very suitable for playing with color. You can also use aluminum, but it will quickly be eaten by corrosion due to contact with water, there is another option to use silver, it’ll turn out a little expensive :)
Then the tube is cut into 2 equal parts, the necessary conical shape is attached, the saw is cut at an angle of 23 degrees, as in the well-known and very catchy spinners of the Kasmaster brand.

Next, the master taps the inside of the workpiece.
Gradually, the author fills the cavity of the former tube with tin.
It removes all the excess that was formed in the process of filling the inner space of the workpiece.
Then it solders the stainless steel workpiece, then everything is also cleaned and polished.
Further, the author shows all sizes directly on the bauble itself. Its front part in diameter remained 6 mm, the rear became 2.5 mm, a cone was obtained and the length was 40 mm.
Subsequently, the lure obtained should be properly polished to a bright shine.
It is necessary to drill 2 holes in the upper and lower parts, the crown with a tee will be attached to the lower part, and the fishing line itself or the leash in the upper part, respectively.
A ring with a tee is fastened, and for greater catchability, the author wound a thread of red wool, you can also use beads, beads, cambrices of the corresponding colors.
This spinner is very suitable for fishing perch in the winter.
And so this is what our author got at the end of the work, one shiny side of stainless steel.
The second side is copper, red, in total, when playing this lure, a good effect of playing the color under the thickness of the water will be created.
So the lure is ready from a copper tube, which the author is incredibly happy, because he even saved a lot on this at today's prices, and one more plus is that if the lure breaks, it will not be so sorry for it as a purchase. Such spinners can be prepared for the entire period of winter fishing and is not worried anymore about this.

This concludes my story, I hope you enjoyed it :) Thank you for your attention! Come more often to visit, there are a lot of homemade products on the site, each visitor will find what he is looking for!

it is better to fill not with tin, but with an alloy of rose or wood, firstly, the temperature is less necessary, and secondly, the solder does not darken like tin
