Manual winch

This article will discuss how to make a small electric winch from available materials.

Tools Materials:
-The wiper motor complete with gear;
-Metal strip;
-Metal curly tube;
- Power button without commit;
-Insulating tape;
-2 bolts of 8 cm with nuts;
-Wire;
- Terminals;
- Power supply 12 V / 1.5 A;
Cutting machine;
-Drill;
-Soldering iron;
-Epoxy adhesive;
-Keys;
-Calipers;
-Nippers;

Step One: Making a Pen
Cuts a workpiece for a handle of the desired length from the tube. Wraps the edge of the handle with electrical tape and pastes it with soft material.

Step Two: Install the handle
Cleans the junction of the handle and engine. Apply epoxy glue to the handle. Presses the engine to the handle and wraps them with electrical tape.

Step Three: Winding Fork
Cut two metal plates of the same length.

Folds the plates together and fastens them, along the edges, with bolts. A hole is drilled in the center of the plate, along the diameter of the gearbox shaft. Secures the winding fork to the shaft.

Fourth step: connecting the electric motor
Trim the plug on the power supply and strip the ends of the wire. In the handle, drills a hole for the power button. Sets the button. Connects the wire from the power supply to the button terminal. A piece of wire connects to the second terminal of the button.

Extends the wire coming from the power supply.

Installs terminals on the ends of the wires. Connects them to the motor terminals.

It remains to connect the power supply to the network and you can use the electric winch.

A little from myself. For those who will make such a winch, I would advise fixing the handle to the engine in another way. For example, two, at the edges, clamps.

The video with a winding rope given by the author does not seem to me to justify the existence of this mysterious design.
This is your personal opinion. He wound the fishing line, pulled a clothesline or dragged water from a well, you ask the author a question. If you do not need such a device, then this does not mean that others do not.

And as for the homemade thing, I say again, if the author needed it, he made it.

That is, you want to say that you published a description of the product here, the actual purpose of which you do not know. The video with a winding rope given by the author does not seem to me to justify the existence of this mysterious design.

I think that with the right point of application of force and the diameter of the drum, the blade mounted on easy ATV, such a motor will lift without problems. And there is no responsibility for such a "big snowman", it satisfies your criteria.

Ivan, for reliability, I would make the winch drum on a separate axis, and the drive from the gearbox would make, for example, a great chain.

My friend made a winch from the motor of UAZ wipers. She lifts his homemade blade , which he riveted for a light ATV, to play, clean the snow in the yard. It copes well ...

blush Blade, fell off the word? blush
Valery, we have dump it is a replaceable part of the plow body. And what do you mean, a dozer blade. (From the "family of dumps", according to the "theory" of pogranec). And if only "playing" ?! blush
Perhaps I didn’t immediately understand what I was talking about? : smirk:
All the electric reducers "janitors" are calculated and calculated for their "role". Have pretty weak the technical part (and the electric one too). You can use it in trinkets where "responsibility" is not required, it broke and okay (and not scary), it’s not a pity there is.
The design presented is not a winch at all (if only a winder, pull knives). The idea to use this part of auto technology for this is old and very large with a big beard. It is striking that this is traditional ... insulating tape ("where would it be without it")?
That's the whole "seriousness" of the unit.

as anything useful. and I say again this is your personal opinion.
She has exactly one drawback: the complete impossibility of using it as a winch. Your opinion, the author had such functionality.
What are "such", what kind of "anchor"?
Anchor to the boat, and the engine from the wiper. Yes with gear alterations and other power. But the author, I repeat again, lacks such functionality as here.
Then the correct name for your text is "Porridge from the ax."
The name is not mine, but the author. Lay out your homemade product or describe someone else's and can call it what you want.
He probably does not hold it in his hands, and the cable, apparently, wraps itself around the drum. And I didn’t show any doubts about the power of such engines.

Do you have a claim under the article?
Yes, there is a complaint if you do not understand: in the presented form, the device cannot be used as a winch, and indeed as something useful.

And if someone doesn’t like the name or functionality, for God's sake, do your homework.
Do you equate yourself with Caesar’s wife? Are your texts beyond suspicion and criticism?
Quote: pogranec
Instead of describing the shortcomings of homemade work (and they undoubtedly exist, as in any other) and discussing how to do better, you again try to teach me life.
She has exactly one drawback: the complete impossibility of using it as a winch.
Quote: pogranec
It is these engines that are used in the manufacture of a winch to raise the anchor.
Reasoning about nothing. What are "such", what kind of "anchor"? You could also tell that the same bolts are used there. Yes, and electrical tape, where without it ...

And on this winch, change the drum. Take the hook on the handle and water from the well, for example. People after reading the article push off from it and do something their own.
Then the correct name for your text is "Porridge from the ax."

Or did I translate the name incorrectly?
The translation of the name is correct. And yet - how can you use this garbage as a winch?
Author
Are you sure this is a winch?
... The author of the homemade product is sure of this. Or did I translate the name incorrectly? It seems that this device is equally called both here and there. And again you are not. And about usefulness, this is your personal opinion, the author needed to do it. You never know what he used. Yes, even with a cat to play with a rope.
Are you sure this is a winch? What useful things can be done with the device described above, except how to wind a loose lying rope?
