You will need boards 35–40 mm thick made of solid wood (birch, oak). Plywood or hardboard 3 mm thick is suitable for partitions. The boards of the side walls and the lid are connected with spikes and glue (carpentry or PVA). The hinged part of the lid is attached to the piano loop. Before tightening the screws, mark the holes with a smaller diameter with a drill. Surfaces of boards are varnished.
When the child needs to do homework, you put a plywood plate on the lid, on one side of which a block is attached, creating a small (5 °) tilt, and the school desk is ready.
Do you want to craft? Put the stove in the compartment under the lid. Reinforced table supports can withstand locksmith work. But in this case, you need a steel or aluminum sheet with a thickness of 1.5 mm.
